About Miss Mercy

I am a multi-award-winning International Makeup Expert and Certified ITEC Makeup Teacher Trainer & Educator with
over 20 years of extensive experience based in Galway, Ireland.
Former Studio Manager for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics in Brown Thomas for 8 years,

I specialise in tutoring private one-to-one lessons and group Masterclasses for teenagers, women, and aspiring makeup artists looking to improve their skills as well as on-location bridal and beauty makeup, with celebrity clients such as international Irish pop star singer/composer Julie Feeney and TV presenter Elaine Crowley.

I have worked as Chief Makeup Artist for fashion shows, television, and movie sets in
Dubai, USA, Spain, Turkey, Kenya, Botswana, Morocco, UK, Zimbabwe, Ireland and Uganda.
My work has been featured in publications such as the Irish Times, The Connacht Tribune,
TG4, and Galway Now magazine,

I offer Group Makeup Masterclasses, one-to-one lessons, and a unique and personalised experience with

I also deliver workshops for Foróige and corporate organisations, and guest speak at conferences, retreats, and podcasts across Africa, Ireland, and Europe.

I am available for Weddings, Film/TV, Special Effects, Videos, Fashion Shows, and Photoshoots at my studio.
I am available for Destination Weddings and International Bookings, Corporate Events, Commercial, Editorial, and movie sets.

"Mercy was recommended to me, and I will be doing the same. She's fantastic! My makeup never budged for the night which was a miracle after dancing! She is so professional and strict on hygiene. I've never seen a makeup artist use a tissue to take the makeup and then the brush. When I asked why she did that she made such a valid point about dipping a brush after it was used would contaminate for the next client. She uses completely fresh brushes for every client too. It's the little things that we often miss. You can see for yourself how fab the final result was. I was blown away and couldn't believe how fab I looked and felt. Mercy herself is a gem of a person. She makes you feel totally at ease and really takes her time with you, adding and checking as you look different directions, not the rushed fast approach I've experienced in the past. Mercy did our make up for our Wedding in August. My Mum, Sister, friends, and I were so happy with her work.

She was so calm and professional, she worked with everyone on an individual basis to make them feel great, she made us all feel so comfortable. She was incredibly kind to the children and helped them feel included.

I booked Mercy to do my makeup for my wedding on the 20th of August this year. I can't begin to say how amazing she is!
I sent her so many pictures of makeup looks and the day of the makeup trial she completed an amazing look that I absolutely fell in love with xx
The morning of the wedding she came to my dad's house to do my bridal partys looks. The girls had a variety of looks that they wanted and Mercy did a fantastic job with everyone's makeup. My mam, who normally doesn't wear makeup, loved her look. It was very natural and really complimented her features. I absolutely loved my bridal makeup, it looked amazing in person and even better in pictures.
When Mercy set up her station everything was incredibly hygienic. Different brushes were used and everything was cleaned between clients. Mercy was super friendly, really funny and kind. Her price is also very affordable and she travelled all the way from Galway to rural Tipperary and got everyone's makeup done on time.

Miss Mercy was my makeup artist on my wedding day. She also did my bridesmaids, mother of the groom and my mom. She’s absolutely friendly and patient with requests. Shes professional and dedicated. I’ve never came across a makeup artist that could actually match foundation to my skin tone. I wanted my bridal look to be natural and Miss Mercy nailed it. She was also so nice to all the girls on the day and was also giving tips and tricks to help with makeup application. Oh! She’s also very hygienic she used different makeup brushes for each ladies and wore gloves and mask. Which was very important to me. Everyone looked amazing ! Will definitely recommend Miss Mercy to anyone! I’ll definitely go back to her.

I met Mercy a few years ago at a wedding fair in Athlone and immediately knew she was the one to do my make up on the day of my wedding. Mercy is so professional and has such a kind and lovely personality that I felt at ease from the minute she agreed to do our makeup. Mercy took the time to get to know me and my wants in the run up to the wedding and she also linked in with me on a regular basis throughout COVID to ensure I was not stressed about the day.
On the day Mercy called me prior to her arrival to ensure I was not panicking; she brought a lovely energy with her and ensured everyone looked their best before leaving for the church. Everyone looked so glamorous, yet elegant on the day and no touch ups were required (keeping in mind we danced until 2am).
